The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame & Museum explores the history of famed athletes and general sports in the area, through a series of interactive archival exhibits. The museum is located near the Smith-Willis Stadium, across the street from Riverside Park. This 21,000-square-foot museum highlights exhibits dedicated to Olympic medal winners and famed baseballer Dizzy Dean, and features the popular Participatory Room, where visitors can take a swing at simulated golf, baseball and much more.
